When to use this tool

Best suited to clear shapes, logos, icons and relatively simple illustrations. Photographs, textures and subtle gradients may produce many paths or altered detail. SVG output does not recover the original design layers.

Prepare and locate the action

Select the source image on your project canvas and find Convert to SVG. If it is not visible, check More Tools and whether the asset type supports it. Keep the original and make sure you have permission to edit and use the source.

Step-by-step workflow

Select a raster image and find Convert to SVG under More Tools, or pin it using toolbar customization. Review the cost and submit, then inspect and download the vector result. SVG nodes expose different actions from raster images.

Example workflow

Convert a simple illustration, then inspect curves, holes and color boundaries in a vector editor before using it in a scalable design. A clean graphic is a better initial test than a complex photograph.

Settings and costs

Use the options and estimated cost shown in the current tool interface. Check the result and actual records after processing. Source dimensions, model and output can affect cost; this guide does not promise a fixed price.

Troubleshooting and quality checks

Scalability does not guarantee accurate detail. Text may become paths rather than editable type. If the conversion is unsuitable, simplify the source or use original vector artwork.
