Install the extension
Install YourArt Clipper from the official Chrome Web Store when you can:
Add from Chrome Web Store · If the store is unavailable or install fails, download the ZIP package
Install from the ZIP package
- Download the ZIP and unzip it.
- Open your browser's extension page: chrome://extensions in Chrome, or edge://extensions in Edge.
- Turn on Developer mode, click Load unpacked, and choose the folder you just unzipped.
If the installation steps on the website change, follow the website.
Collect images from the web
On a web page, collect images from the extension's side panel, the image right-click menu, or by dragging an image. Make sure you have the right to use the images you collect.
Some sites block image downloads or dragging, and browser-internal pages such as settings can't be collected from. If collection fails, check whether the extension has access to that site and whether the original image still loads.
Import into a project
- Sign in to YourArt and make sure it's the account you want to use.
- Select the images you want in the extension.
- Choose the destination project and start the import.
- Check whether each image succeeded or failed.
- Open that project's canvas to confirm everything arrived before you start editing.
Storage and retries
Collecting and importing are two separate steps. Collected images are stored locally in your browser, so clearing browser data or uninstalling the extension can remove them. Imported images use your account's storage, which you can check in your account panel.
You can retry failed imports as prompted. Don't switch accounts while an import is running; an import that's already in progress won't move to the new account.
Image didn't show up?
Check, in order: that you imported into this project, the import status of that image, which account you're signed in to, your network and your storage.
One more case: you can see a thumbnail on the page, but the site uses hotlink protection or the original has been removed. In that situation the full image can't be downloaded.
