When to use this tool
Useful for product shots, portraits and compositing. Clear separation between subject and background makes the result easier to inspect. Background removal keeps the main subject; object removal erases selected content instead.
Prepare and locate the action
Select the source image on your project canvas and find Remove bg. If it is not visible, check More Tools and whether the asset type supports it. Keep the original and make sure you have permission to edit and use the source.
Step-by-step workflow
Select the source, choose Remove bg, review the cost and wait. Inspect hair, glass, translucent materials and shadows. Changing the canvas background can help reveal edge defects, but does not add that color to the exported image.
Example workflow
Extract a product from a busy photograph and place it over another background on the canvas. To retain transparency, export in a format that supports an alpha channel. JPEG cannot preserve a transparent background.
Settings and costs
Use the options and estimated cost shown in the current tool interface. Check the result and actual records after processing. Source dimensions, model and output can affect cost; this guide does not promise a fixed price.
Troubleshooting and quality checks
If part of the subject disappears or a halo remains, try a source with clearer boundaries. A white preview does not prove the background remains; inspect against another canvas color or check the transparent file.
